The laser-cut woodblock printed representations of the "Prey- Beasts" are hybridizations of prey-animal human anatomy, brass knuckles, and gavels. These creatures resemble the visceral sense of fragility and the resilient will to fight in the face of trauma. The Prey-Beasts are overlaid with repeating silkscreened text of diaristic poetry which in many instances appears to be disintegrating. The immersive installations constructed from the repetitive printed draperies create an interplay of reveal and conceal.
